I watched 'I'm a Celebrity, Get me out of here!' every year..
what can I say a am a reality obsessive, lol. But in 2004 I saw
the best year yet. Katie Price aka Jordan was on it, and I
couldn't wait to see what she would be like. Indeed that was why
Katie agreed to do it, she wanted to show the world that there
was more to Katie Price than just 'Jordan'. What she wasn't
expecting was to fall in love.
Also on the show that year was Peter Andre, who Katie later
admits to fancying when she was a lot younger "When I was a
teenager, he was my pin-up and I idolised him."
The two had an immediate attraction, but Katie was still in a
relationship with then boyfriend Scott Sullivan - although Katie
was thinking of ending it.
Over the course of the show we watched as it seemed that Peter
was trying to win over Katie's affections, but to no avail. In
fact she wanted to be with him, badly, but it seemed that there
was no happy outcome as Peter decided he had had enough.
Thankfully once Katie had been evicted from the show, she was
able to bring her current relationship to an end, and fight for
the man of her dreams. Thankfully it wasn't long before it was
all sorted and Katie & Peter were officially a couple.
On September 10th 2005 they were married in a fairytale wedding,
and have since had two gorgeous children together. First came a
son Junior, her first child with Peter Andre. born on 13th June
2005, at 10 AM by Caesarean Section, weighing 5lbs 13oz, and
then more recently a daughter, Princess Tiaamii, was born on
June 29, 2007 weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
TV
Of course one thing about Katie & Peter's relationship is that
they have spent the majority of it in front of the cameras
sharing their highs and lows with their many fans. We've seen
their marriage, Peter's illness, Harvey's accident and so much
more, and it doesn't look like they are planning to give it up
any time soon. So far we've watched their relationship build in
a variety of 'Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter', seen them
interviewing guests in their own unique chat show 'Unleashed'
and of course there are the many performances on live TV. We can
only look forward to the next installment.
